POSITION - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are looking for a dynamic, relationship-oriented, and customer-oriented individual to join a professional and motivated sales team. Reporting to the Vice-President of Sales, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring all corporate accounts to achieve the expected annual sales target and maximize the business opportunities of each account. He will also be called upon to prospect for new customers. The Business Development Director will be a key player who will directly contribute to the success of the company. The work will be carried out from the head office in Bois-des-Filion, in a completely renovated environment.

RESPONSABILITIES:
- Meet sales targets per account
- Present products, promotions and strategic plan to meet sales objectives
- Plan annual sales projections and marketing budget
- Monitor the performance of your territory with the tools in place (pre-book, sales tracking table, pivot tables)
- Negotiate commercial agreements
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Coordinate with various departments of the company to meet deadlines (procurement and shipping department)
- Produce and present business reviews (sales and performance analysis by product category, set objectives and develop new programs)
- Manage planograms, packs and programs in place
- Fill out product creation files and buying show documentation for fairs
- Prospect for new accounts and generate new deals
- Stay abreast of trends and changes in the competitive environment

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience as a Business Development Manager with corporate accounts – essential
- Fluently bilingual (oral and written) – essential
- DEC or equivalent; relevant professional experience in corporate sales for the distribution of consumer products for the retail market will also be strongly considered
- Experience in negotiating with head offices at the procurement lever – major asset
- Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) – essential
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Possesses a very good knowledge of sales and marketing business processes
- Results-oriented and goal-oriented; passionate about developing relationships with people, business development, and the challenge of closing a sale
- Teamwork, team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop concise and effective written proposals, presentations and summaries
- Creative and innovative, autonomous, disciplined and effective in time management and organization
- Involved, motivated, energetic player determined to grow with the company in the long term
