ALCO Energy Solutions fabricates and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. ALCO is seeking a Maintenance Lead to work within our production facility.
Reporting to the Production Manager the Maintenance Leadis an integral part of the ALCO team.
Duties Include but are Not Limited to:
- Maintain and repair of production and facility assets.
- Troubleshooting and repair or welding machines, vessel rollers, bandsaws, drill presses and lathes.
- Identify and assign repairs to qualified vendors.
- Set up and commissioning of new equipment.
- Prepare and implement a scheduled maintenance plan in support of all assets.
Job Requirements:
- A Red Seal endorsement in either Electrical, Millwright or equivalent.
- Proven experience to complete the duties as stated.
- Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or fabrication shop.
- Lock-out Tag-out certification.
- AWP and Fall Arrest would be an asset, however, not required.
- Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Valid Alberta class 5 driving licence.
Working Conditions:
- The work schedule is a 4/10 schedule (4 consecutive days per week, each consisting of a 10 hour shift), overtime and working weekends may be required with short notice.
- ALCO has a large manufacturing facility with other trades present.
- Outside/inside work will be required.
- Working at heights and loud environment.
- This position may be physically demanding at times.
