We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer to oversee and enhance safety protocols within our construction environment. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all departments to identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Facilitate safety training sessions and workshops for employees, emphasizing best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and ensure readiness for various scenarios.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training activities, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on relevant safety legislation, industry standards, and emerging risks to ensure ongoing compliance.

- Proven experience in a construction setting with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Excellent training & development skills to educate staff on safety procedures effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Effective communication skills to convey safety information clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to foster a proactive safety culture through leadership and engagement initiatives.
- Certifications related to occupational health and safety (such as OSHA) are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
