As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be selling labeling automation equipment, coding, marking solutions, and consumables to various industries, including food and beverage, transportation, and pharmaceutical. This sales position is a player-coach role. As an individual contributor managing existing accounts and developing new clients, it is also a leadership role, managing a team of two salespeople and three service technicians. The individual contributor sales territory is in the Toronto East End and Durham region. The sales leadership role manages a team that covers all parts of Ontario. The base salary is $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses.

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 – 10 years of sales experience.
- 3-5 years of industry experience selling packaging, labeling, and coding-type equipment and consumables.
- Leadership experience an asset
- Knowledge of various industries and applications in packaging

Responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities, strategies, and value-based solutions through customer application evaluations.
- Prepare (in coordination with others) a Strategic Action Plan and Tactical Action Plan that l eads to the attainment of the annual sales forecast and is aligned with the company's values, vision, and practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing account relations by providing sales support, sales
leadership, product and sales skills training, sales management, and motivation.
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to organize and track multiple sources of information and data to achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate activities with other sales members, including the other Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, and Aftermarket to maximize sales
- Introduce new products to the sales team as they are developed.
- Continuously developing strategies to keep current accounts vital and growing in sales of
the product line, measured by how revenues are generated and paid, how the sales team
interfaces with customers and product training.
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks of managing all Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Service
Technicians within your geographic territory.
