Produce Department Leader
Mid-Size Family Farm Market
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Produce Department Leader to join our growing family-run farm market team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fresh food, local agriculture, merchandising, and leading a team in a busy retail environment. The successful candidate will help oversee the daily operation of our produce department while maintaining exceptional standards for freshness, presentation, customer service, and organization.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading daily produce department operations Merchandising and maintaining attractive displays Receiving and rotating produce Supporting inventory and ordering Training and supporting staff Monitoring freshness and minimizing shrink Providing excellent customer service Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
- Produce, grocery, or farm market experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience an asset Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet Weekend and early morning availability required

Wage Range:
$22.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
