About the Role
We are seeking a tutor that is bilingual (Arabic and English) to work with children in a supportive learning environment. The role focuses on helping children strengthen foundational academic skills, build confidence, and develop positive learning habits.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring for children
- Support foundational reading, writing, and basic math skills
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Communicate with children in both Arabic and English when needed
- Adapt learning approaches based on each child’s needs
- Encourage confidence, focus, and positive learning behaviour
- Track basic progress and provide feedback to staff or parents
- Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Fluency in Arabic (Levantine dialect preferred) and English
- Post-secondary education (education, childcare, or related field preferred)
- 3-5 years experience working with children in tutoring, teaching, or childcare settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a child-focused learning environment

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
