Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for creating a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts that delight our customers while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation processes comply with food safety regulations.
- Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of all baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and notifying management of supply needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary and accommodating special requests.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling techniques and safe food preparation practices.
- Strong baking skills with experience in creating various types of pastries and desserts.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
