Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our 3d 4d prenatal ultrasound team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing 2d gender determination, 3d baby pictures, 4d baby video ultrasound to provide to the expecting parents. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with the clients.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound procedure on clients (pregnancy related)
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
- Obtain client history and explain procedures to ensure clients comfort.
- Take ultrasound images and record video of the baby.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and client information.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to perform the duties.
- Maintain good communication with the clients to have exceptional experience.
Skills
- Proficient in medical ultrasound terminology related to gynae ops.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with the clients.
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on clients care and comfort.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining records and managing time efficiently.
- Ardms, Canadian sonography, bcit sonography training or equivalent licensing.
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks required for ultrasound related procedures (client information and session management).
