The Corporate Health & Safety Manager provides health and safety support to the Health and Safety and Operations teams to drive consistency in the health and safety management system implementation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Manage implementation of the Emergency Management and Security program.

Manage development and implementation of the Training and Competency programs related to field HSE Training.
-
Manage updates and implementation of the HSEMS, this will include managing the HSEMS update committee and providing overall support for required changes to the HSEMS.
-
Provide oversight of COR Audit program including arranging audit and development of action plan.
-
Oversea HSE Analyst role(s) including oversight of corporate HSE reporting, HSER SharePoint site, Contractor Management and Registry accounts and HS Software.
-
Manage corporate Industrial Hygiene program.
-
Provide additional support as required.
Qualifications/Competencies:
The individual in this role will have:
-
A minimum 7- 10 years direct experience in industry related operations.
-
Demonstrated leadership skills.
-
Working knowledge of Emergency Management system including ICS.
-
Working knowledge of safety management systems and safe work practices.
-
Practical knowledge and experience in training and coaching staff.
-
A broad understanding of the HSE regulatory process and principles.
-
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure.
-
Strong ability to build working relationships and contacts within the organization as well as with external regulators, vendors and contractors.
-
High proficiency in MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
-
Experience in hands-on operating at facilities is considered a strong asset.

Safety designation (OHS Certificate, CRSP or NCSO) and/or post-secondary education considered an asset.

-
Create and oversea SOP committee and provide OHS expertise in relation to SOP requirements.

Develop and maintain all corporate SOPs and provide guidance on requirements for site specific SOPs.

Training Program

Develop, implement and maintain a corporate Training Program for health and safety related training. This will include Training matrix and a training tracking platform.

Competency

Develop, implement and maintain a corporate competency program. This will include a competency tracking program.
HSEMS
-
Oversea HSEMS Review Committee and provide OHS expertise for update to all components of the HSEMS.

Implement a HSEMS review plan to provide guidance on review schedule.
COR Audit
-
Manage annual COR Audit process.
-
Share findings from COR Audit.
-
Develop corrective action plan related to COR Audit and track completion of these actions.
Provide Direction to HSE Analyst Role

Provide guidance to HSE Analyst role for day-to-day tasks including:
