We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern on a 12-month contract to support our environmental laboratory’s marketing initiatives. This role will assist in developing and executing print, digital, and video (YouTube) campaigns to promote our services and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of marketing campaigns across print and digital channels
- Create and update marketing materials (brochures, flyers, sales sheets, trade show assets)
- Support digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website content updates
- Assist with YouTube content creation and management (video planning, uploading, optimization)
- Conduct market and industry research to support marketing strategy
- Track and report on campaign performance using basic analytics tools
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Environmental Science
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Experience with design or video tools is an asset
- Interest in environmental services or sustainability preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

In order to be qualified for this NOHFC funding, the candidate must:
- be a new entrant into the workforce, are transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
- have not previously participated in an NOHFC funded internship in the 2020 Mandate.
- be 18 years of age or older.
- be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- reside in the Northern Ontario community in which they are employed
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Garson, ON P3L 1E1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
