Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed 310S Auto Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience, and the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. Candidates must hold a valid 310S license and possess excellent mechanical knowledge to thrive in this position. Commission Opportunities available for Licensed Mechanics that are willing to build their own book of business and lots of room for growth. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications
- Utilize power tools and hand tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely
- Heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components to facilitate repairs and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Experience
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license is required
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs
- Familiarity with welding, schematics, assembly, and maintenance procedures
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Customer service skills to provide professional assistance and build customer trust
- Knowledge of automotive repair best practices, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques
