Overview
General Public is looking to hire a fulltime dedicated and skilled prep cook. Mornings shifts Wendnesday through Sunday approximately 8-4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience with bread making, butchery and sauce making.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals following the recipes and guidelines provided
- Handle and store food ingredients in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
