In developing competitive products for the global market, we are currently seeking a:
Customer Service Representative - Parts Sales
The preferred candidate will have:
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a safe working environment,
- A post-secondary education in a technical or business-related discipline along with 3- 5 years related experience in customer service/parts supply.
- Previous experience dealing in both international and domestic markets along with a second language is preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment and with a network of Dealers, Customers and Vendors,
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software in a Network Environment,
- Experience with heavy equipment and/or technical / mechanical applications,
- Familiarity with an organization serving International and domestic customers is an asset.
The position responsibilities include:
- Provide quotes as requested by dealers for parts, providing accurate delivery estimates and pricing information. Obtains current vendor pricing & delivery from suppliers and current manufactured costs from manufacturing for items not currently published in our lists.
- Receive purchase orders from customers, review terms, line items, and delivery expectations. Enter order, classifying priority dependent on customer needs and product availability. Print pick list to warehouse and provide the customer with order verification for tracking purposes. Maintain customer correspondence and order files.
- Act as liaison for all customer inquiries regarding order status, accounting information, shipment details, product information, and updates. Complete Customer Feedback Reports to inform other departments of problems or items requiring attention from the Customer’s perspective.
- Receive dealer requests to return goods and warranty considerations. Obtain appropriate controlled forms from accounting and issue to customer.
- Complete Request to Supply for all Dealer capital equipment orders – attachments. Obtain correct information from product group as to meet customer needs, enter order, and distribute Requests to Supply.
- Run Open Order reports and action any outstanding issues by expediting and communicating with purchasing, outside vendors, and manufacturing to obtain shipping status information regarding customer orders.
- Complete appropriate paperwork to drive necessary credits and/or no charge shipments with respect to accounting and warranty issues.
- Communicate with Regional Sales Managers regarding customer orders.
- Involvement in teams and committees.
