Staining Specialist - Evening Shift Wanted
We’re looking for a careful, hands-on team member to prepare, stain, and finish timbers to the high standard our projects demand.

The Role: Staining Specialist Reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
What Success Looks Like
- Prepare timber surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting
- Mix and apply stains, sealers, and finishes to project specifications
- Use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and finishing tools safely
- Maintain consistent colour, coverage, and finish quality
- Mask and protect surfaces and work areas before application
- Inspect finished work and complete touch-ups as required
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the finishing area
Qualifications
- Experience with staining, painting, wood finishing, or a related trade is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for consistent colour and finish
- Comfortable using sanding and finishing equipment; spray experience is an asset
- Able to follow product instructions, work orders, and safety procedures
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or with a team
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Available to work scheduled evening and weekend shifts
- Understanding of different wood species and how they respond to various stains and finishes an asset
- Ability to work with solvents, oils, and finishing tools safely and efficiently
- Willingness to learn and follow established processes
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications·
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent — Weekend shift, Monday - Tuesday, 1:30PM–10:00PM and Saturday – Sunday 7:00AM-5:00PM
