Contract Overflow Xactimate Estimator
ServiceMaster Restore of Red Deer is looking for an experienced Xactimate Estimator to assist our team with overflow estimating work on a contract basis.
This is a flexible opportunity for an estimator who is comfortable working independently, understands restoration estimating, and can produce accurate, well-supported estimates within reasonable turnaround times.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed estimates using Xactimate
- Writing estimates for interior and exterior property damage
- Reviewing scopes, photographs, measurements, sketches, and supporting documentation
- Estimating water, fire, smoke, demolition, reconstruction, roofing, siding, and other restoration-related work
- Adding appropriate notes, supporting documentation, and estimate justification
- Completing revisions and responding to estimator or adjuster feedback when required
- Communicating with our project management team to clarify scope details
- Helping us manage estimating volume during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of Xactimate estimating experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xactimate
- Experience estimating both interior and exterior losses is strongly preferred
- Restoration, insurance repair, construction, or property claims experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and repair processes
- Ability to interpret photographs, measurements, sketches, and scopes of work
- Strong attention to detail and estimate accuracy
- Reliable communication and the ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
The Opportunity
This is a contract overflow position, with work assigned as estimating volume requires. The amount of work may vary from week to week, making it a good fit for an experienced estimator looking to add flexible project-based work to their current schedule.
Compensation will be discussed based on experience and may be structured per estimate, hourly, or under another mutually agreed-upon arrangement.
