Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate / General Maintenance professional to join our team. We are currently seeking a skilled,reliable, hardworking, and motivated Maintenance Associate to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Toronto-Markham. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.namic environment where safety, quality, and customer service are paramount.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry work
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas
- Ensure hotel safety standards are followed at all times
- Assist with seasonal and renovation-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Experience:
- Hotel Maintenance : 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Pool Operator Certificate (preferred)
