About the Job
The ERP SAP Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the organization's SAP ERP landscape. This role leads SAP projects, manages system enhancements, drives business process optimization, and collaborates closely with business stakeholders to ensure ERP capabilities align with organizational objectives. The ERP SAP Manager plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, digital transformation, and business growth through the effective use of SAP technologies.
Location: On-site (Mississauga)
Travel: Up to 10-20% based on project requirements.
Position Accountabilities
SAP Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute the SAP ERP roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Establish ERP governance, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure system scalability, security, stability, and compliance.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives leveraging SAP technologies.
Project Management
- Lead SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, resources, and risks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and system integrators.
- Ensure successful deployment and adoption of SAP solutions.
Business Process Optimization
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Analyze and redesign processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and HR.
- Implement SAP best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.
SAP Operations & Support
- Oversee day-to-day SAP system administration and support activities.
- Manage incident resolution, change requests, and system performance.
- Ensure high system availability and business continuity.
- Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs).
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor SAP analysts, functional consultants, developers, and support teams.
- Conduct performance management and career development activities.
- Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between business functions and IT teams.
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Communicate project statuses, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure SAP systems comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support SOX compliance and cybersecurity initiatives where applicable.
- Maintain data integrity and governance standards.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive SAP ERP experience.
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership or management experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
- Proven track record leading ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience with one or more SAP modules, including:
- SAP Finance (FI/CO)
- SAP Materials Management (MM)
- SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
- SAP Production Planning (PP)
- SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM)
- SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
- SAP SuccessFactors
- SAP Ariba
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated project and program management expertise.
- Excellent business process analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and external vendors.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
