Auto Detailer – Sherwood Park Volkswagen
Join our busy Detail Department as an Automotive Detailer and help bring vehicles to their shining best! In this energetic, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing vehicles to meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your attention to detail will help create a great experience for every customer, leaving their vehicle spotless and refreshed. This is a full-time position starting at $20 per hour, offering a great opportunity to build your skills in automotive care within a fast-paced, team-oriented shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, and polishing to enhance appearance and protect paintwork
- Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning upholstery, dashboards, windows, and mirrors for a pristine finish
- Apply protective treatments such as tire shine and interior conditioners to maintain vehicle longevity and appearance
- Prep new and used vehicles for delivery
- Inspect vehicles for damages or issues and communicate findings to supervisors as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the detailing area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines during cleaning procedures
- Keep up with volume in a fast-paced service and sales environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in auto detailing or vehicle cleaning is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality results
- Self-motivated with a strong, reliable work ethic
- Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products; familiarity with automotive care is a plus
- Ability to drive manaul considered an asset
- Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a team environment
- Valid driver's license required
