Halton Pediatric Allergy is a world renowned dedicated pediatric subspecialty clinic focusing on the diagnosis and management of food and environmental allergies, asthma, eczema, drug allergy and medication allergies. We have a spacious and bright clinic and work business hours ONLY. We are closed evenings and all statutory holidays. Our team consists of 3 physicians, nursing and admin support.
We are looking for:
- A great team player!
- A person who is efficient, great at multi-task, with solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using an EMR (Accuro preferred) - training will be provided
- Prior pediatric experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Complete brief patient history, and complete skin prick testing and spirometry
- Conduct, under physician direction, oral food challenges
- Administer, under physician direction, allergy shots and start sublingual immunotherapy
- Maintain accurate health records and up to date clinical notes
- Ensure all exam rooms are stocked sufficiently and consistently
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding upcoming appointments/procedures
