We are looking for a reliable, hardworking *General Labourer* to join our construction team in the Greater Toronto Area. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working with their hands, and being part of a team.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of construction and renovation tasks and will have the opportunity to develop additional skills and gain experience in the trades.
Responsibilities
Assist with general construction and renovation activities
Load, unload and move materials, tools and equipment
Prepare and clean work areas
Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks
Perform demolition, cleanup and material removal as required
Use basic hand and power tools safely
Follow instructions from supervisors and tradespeople
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work site
Perform other general labour duties as required
Requirements
Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset, but *training can be provided for the right candidate*
Reliable and punctual
Physically capable of lifting and moving materials and performing manual labour
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Basic understanding of workplace safety
Reliable transportation to job sites is an asset
Ability to use basic hand tools is an asset
