JJ Bakes Company is a Filipina-owned cafe and we are looking to fill positions at both our Langley & White Rock locations! Our cafe is inspired by our culture and we are looking for enthusiastic and driven team members to help share it with the community!
Responsibilities:
- Making espresso based drinks using a semi-automatic machine
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Prepare and serve food items according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or food service is REQUIRED
- Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet customer needs efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
