We are a privately run farm located 10 minutes from Calgary, Alberta, and are looking for a Maintenance and Landscape Laborer to join our team. If you have a passion for horses and rural living, and are a strong worker with a great work ethic, we want to talk with you! You will be working on and around the farm to ensure our landscaping and maintenance needs are met.
This is a full-time role, and you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00-4:00, with possible weekend work as required. You have a good working knowledge of all things landscaping, are mechanically inclined and will manage the general upkeep of the grounds. This includes grass and ground maintenance in the summer and snow removal in the winter months. This is a high-end Boutique Equestrian Facility on 40 acres of structured formal park setting.
This position requires travel to other locations for maintenance and landscape upkeep. A work truck will be provided for any travel required.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
· Class 5 drivers license required
· Prior experience with various landscaping and maintenance equipment
· Prior experience with the maintenance and upkeep of landscape and maintenance equipment
· Be prepared to assist in farm maintenance projects as well, i.e. repair and painting of fencing
· Be a strong team player with high standards, excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach
