Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer / Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who has experience in mechatronics, machine design, general computing and hands on machine building, prototyping. This person will work directly underneath the owner in general computing tasks, organization, CAD design, drafting, programming, design work and on site mechanical work.
- Interpret drawings to produce 3D models and drawings.
- Work along the machinists on the floor to produce parts.
- Utilize Solidworks to design parts and fixtures.
- Assist with assembly work if needed.
- Assist with project managment and planning
Qualifications
- Experience using solidworks and or other 3d modeling software.
- Experience in machining is a plus since we do that in house.
- Experience in machine design.
- Engineering degree is not a must but would be nice to have.
- Experience in a shop environment. We use waterjets, cncs and other fabrication equipment.
- This person must be comfortable using simple tools like a drill press, hand tools, tape measures, wrenches etc. This person must be comfortable wrenching on equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
