Job Description
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Perform requirements analysis, software design, estimation, development, and project tracking.
Participate in system/architectural design and evaluation.
Develop, code, document and execute unit test using different languages and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
Work on both Agile and Hybrid projects/initiatives.
Follow appropriate processes identified as part of the project workflow to ensure timely delivery of solution in time.
Proactively identify technology operational risks/compliance issues and remediate as necessary.
Manage all aspects of implementation planning and coordination activities with technology counterparts and Infrastructure.
Provide senior management and key stakeholders with timely updates on projects.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have
A relevant degree or certificate in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years’ experience in development of medium to large enterprise applications using .Net, JavaScript, PL/SQL.
Proven experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing.
Nice-to-have:
Experience working with DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins, UCD etc.)
Experience building message driven architectures (Kafka)
Experience with the non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)

Job Summary
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As a Senior Software Developer on the Client Source team in RBC Wealth Management’s Toronto office, you will partner directly with multiple technology and business teams to help deliver custom technology solutions. This involves working in the full end-to-end software lifecycle, including assessing requirements, designing application and data architecture, implementation, test and deployment automation, and documentation.
