Job Description: Role: Business System Analyst
Location: 44 King St W, Toronto, ON M5H 1H1, CA;
Hybrid 2-3 days in office a week
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Murex Reporting and Data Extraction initiatives. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and vendor teams, translating reporting and data requirements into functional specifications and ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for reporting, data extraction, and information delivery.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users, vendors, and technology teams.
- Support solution reviews, data mapping, impact analysis, and requirement traceability.
- Coordinate SIT/UAT activities, manage test cases, track defects, and validate reporting outputs.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, requirement sign-offs, and project readiness activities.
- Support Agile delivery processes, implementation, and post-production adoption.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets or Financial Services.
- Hands-on experience with Murex Reporting, Murex DataMart, or WSS ION.
- Good understanding of reporting, data extraction, data mapping, and data lineage.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting domains.
Experience with report migration, reporting transformation, or reporting rationalization initiatives.
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
