We are seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Manage cash register operations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain merchandising standards, ensuring products are well-stocked
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette
- Assist in organizing store displays and inventory management
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
