Job Summary:
Join our team as a Support Worker, where you will be an integral part of providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their homes
Duties:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals, including those requiring dementia care, senior care, and patient care.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support individuals with mobility needs and perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with patients to promote emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support for individuals.
Skills:
- Prior experience in homecare an assist
- Proficiency in dementia care, hospice care, and assisting seniors with daily activities.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting while ensuring patient safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Attention to detail in documenting patient progress and following care plans accurately.
All Employees with be provided with company uniform scrubs, 1 pair of work shoes per year and all equipment required

MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED
- MUST BE FULLY VACINATED FOR COVID-19 PLUS ALL ROUTINE VACCINATIONS
- MUST ACCESS TO OWN VEHICLE, RELIABLE AND FULLY INSURED
- MUST HAVE COMPLETED AN ACCREDITED PSW COURSE
- MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE ONTARIO PSW ASSOCIATION OR WILLING TO JOIN PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST SHIFT
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
