Adjunct Faculty Opportunity: Business Law
The University of Fredericton, a recognized graduate and undergraduate degree-granting institution in the Province of New Brunswick and ACBSP-accredited, is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach a fourth-year Business Law course in our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program.
Our programs are delivered fully online and designed to provide flexible, high-quality education for working professionals.
Qualifications
- PhD in Law, Legal Studies, or a closely related discipline with demonstrated expertise in Canadian business law; or a JD, LLM, or equivalent terminal legal qualification
- Strong knowledge of contract law, tort law, business organizations, corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and international business law
- Ability to support students in legal research, case analysis, and the application of Canadian legal principles to business situations
Preferred Candidates Will Have
- Experience teaching Business Law in Canadian higher education
- Experience teaching undergraduate business or management students
- 5 years of online teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with CanLII and Canadian case law
- Experience with case-based and applied learning

- Fourth-year BBA course
- 8 weeks
- Fully online and asynchronous
- Courses are offered online throughout the year
