About the job
The role of Senior Accountant will provide assistance to the finance department and ensure complete and accurate financial records are available and adhere to deadlines and requirements as per the Accounting Manager and Finance Controller. You will be required to provide full-cycle accounting, month end, year-end, financial reporting and other detailed accounting services to all business units within the organization, including TAQA Corporate if required.
Responsibilities
- Inventory and Asset Tracking
- Working papers and monthly reconciliations
- Inter-company reconciliations and invoices/payments
- Project Accounting for R&D
- Prepaid Schedules/Cost Accruals
- Purchase Order Reconciliation
- Other duties as required or requested
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience with full-cycle bookkeeping
- Knowledge of current IFRS Reporting
- SAP Experience is an asset
- CPA designation is an asset
