Refrigeration InstallerOverview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Installer to join our growing mechanical team. This role involves the installation, commissioning, and service support of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems across a variety of construction and retrofit projects.
The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, strong construction site awareness, and the ability to work from drawings and specifications. Responsibilities
- Install commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Assist with start-up, testing, and commissioning of refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment submittals
- Perform piping installation including refrigeration piping, and related mechanical connections
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on active construction sites
- Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing system issues during installation and start-up phases
- Perform pressure testing, evacuation, and charging of refrigeration systems
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with safety standards
- Complete daily work documentation and report progress to site supervision
Qualifications
- Experience as a refrigeration mechanic, HVAC installer, or related mechanical trade
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, piping practices, and mechanical installations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
- Experience in commercial construction environments considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of brazing, and mechanical piping practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Refrigeration or HVAC trade certification is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience

Pay: $23.25-$56.15 per hour
