We are currently looking for motivated and experienced Mechanical Electrician to join our Calgary site!

Job summary
In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, reliability, and safety of our production equipment. Your days will be centered around hands-on technical work, including the assembly, diagnostic testing, and troubleshooting of complex electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Working closely with production leadership, you will play a key role in designing systems according to strict specifications and maintaining peak equipment performance.
- Repairing, assembling, and testing electrical and pneumatic components;
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams;
- Designing electrical systems according to specifications;
- Troubleshooting equipment effectively;
- Taking the necessary measures to protect their own health, safety, and physical integrity, as well as those of others;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- College Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Technical Diploma in electromechanics, electrical trades, or a related field (preferably with an automotive, mechanics, hydraulics, or pneumatics specialization).
- Journeyman Certificate, Red Seal certification, or equivalent registered apprenticeship status is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (an asset).
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and anomaly detection skills on Calgary production facility equipment.
- High autonomy, strong organizational skills, and a great aptitude for teamwork.
- Ability to work efficiently within required timeframes and properly complete technical documents.
- Good physical condition, with the capability to occasionally lift and move loads up to 25 kg.
