Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Projects Construction Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small to medium sized multiple vertical retail projects up to $1.5M in scope. This position will have a specific focus of managing the division on retrofit and refresh program work. Exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing small to medium scale projects from inception to completion.
Professionally respect Freshco with clients, including store managers, corporate facilities managers, technicians, and all other external stakeholders as directed.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and construction professionals
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met
- Monitor project progress, identify and address potential issues or risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality controls
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Forster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development
Education and other skills:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail construction project management, with at least 5-years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing construction projects with a successful track record of on-time, on-budget delivery and client relationships
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in project management software/tools/platforms
