Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety guidelines
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while providing attentive customer service
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; experience as a bartender is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and team-oriented approach
