Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked properly, presented attractively, and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- 2 to 5 years experience in food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation is highly desirable
- Experience in the food industry, including meal preparation and food safety practices, will be considered an asset
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in food service and kitchen tasks is advantageous
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
