We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resident Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
