Steamworks Brewery is looking for an energetic and reliable Food Truck Cook / Operator to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in serving great food, and delivers excellent customer service. We're looking for a strong communicator and team player who is excited to help us grow and evolve to meet customer needs.
Position Details
- Part-time: Approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Compensation: $20/hour + tips
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and special events
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to Steamworks standards
- Operate the food truck during service periods and events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Assist with inventory, prep work, and stocking
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Handle cash and POS transactions as required
Qualifications
- Previous fast-paced kitchen experience required
- Customer service experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
