Michael Durham Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Lawn Cutting Foreman to lead our lawn maintenance crew. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has strong leadership and organizational skills.
As a Lawn Cutting Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the lawn care crew while ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off crew members using company vehicles
- Safely operate company truck and trailer
- Lead, supervise, and train crew members on proper lawn maintenance procedures
- Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation and safety practices
- Maintain accurate daily logs of completed services and equipment inspections
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including:
- Push lawn mowers
- Zero-turn mowers
- Trimmers
- Blowers
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
- Maintain professionalism and positive communication with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Previous lawn care or landscaping experience required
- Prior crew leader or foreman experience considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience driving trucks with trailers preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Ability to safely lift and operate landscaping equipment
