Childcare Worker
Fun 2 Bee Early Learning Centre is seeking a caring, reliable, and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and transitions.
- Foster positive relationships with children and encourage respectful interactions.
- Communicate effectively with parents, families, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment.
- Follow all childcare policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in outdoor play and daily program activities.
Requirements
- ECE Level 1 certification is preferred.
- Applicants who are willing to obtain ECE Level 1 certification will also be considered.
- Previous experience working with children is an asset.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, responsible, patient, and compassionate.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search required prior to employment.
Pay: $15.35-$29.38 per hour
