We are looking for a competent Dish washer to keep all areas of the kitchen clean and tidy while making sure the cooks have all the necessary tools to do their jobs. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. Summary of Responsibilities:
· Prepare your station daily
· Putting dishes away where they belong
· Assist cooks as needed with their dish requests
· Operating dish wash equipment
· Keeping all equipment organized, clean, neat and tidy in the kitchen
· Sweep and mop daily
· Take out garbage and recycling
· Polish cutlery
· Looking professional, clean, and proper uniform at all times
· Communicate any equipment needs, repairs needed to supervisor
· Additional responsibilities as asked by cooks
Requirements:
· The successful applicant must have 1 year relative experience.
· must be good under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· must be open to ideas
· must have a great attitude
· must have good organizational skills
· must be able to work as part of a team
· must be able to lift weights up to 40 lbs
· Must be available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
· Must be committed and dedicated to work and show up on time every day
