Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for order totals.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Must be available to work the afternoon/evening shift on Sunday to Thursday.
