Job Summary Full time ( Includes working one day a week at our hospital location
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. This is a full position which includes working one day a week at our alternate hospital Location , one evening a week and one Saturday/mnth
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Assist the dentist during various procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Abeldent (Willing to train on program)
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and answer questions related to procedures and oral health
- Greet patients as they arrive, schedule appointments, and handle administrative tasks similar to a dental receptionist role
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in compliance with health regulations (IPAC)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Working efficiently in a fast paced environment

Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting ( Wages based on experience)
- Familiarity with dental software Abeldent, is highly advantageous
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- CPR
- Certification/Diploma in Dental Assisting Level II

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
