Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team (Thursdays to Sundays from 5:30pm to closing) in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen environment. Come work with a great team in a very fast paced environment with free staff meals and drinks. (This position is for 4 evenings/week, long term (not a summer job). MUST already be in Canada and have a valid work permit.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep, mop and scrub floors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service setting.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a hospitality environment.
