Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary options to assist guests effectively
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables during busy periods while maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and processing payments confidently
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices is a plus

Pay: $18.85-$20.00 per hour
