- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, light steel, and other materials.
Build, assemble, and install wood and metal framework for walls, floors, roofs, and other structures.
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and other finishing components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to construct and repair structures.
Ensure structures are aligned, level, and square according to specifications.
Install floor joists, roof trusses, and wall studs.
Select and prepare materials required for framing projects.
Follow building codes and safety regulations on-site.
Collaborate with other construction workers, trades, and supervisors to complete projects on time.
- Inspect and repair damaged framework or structures when required.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
