Quantum is looking for a Procurement Coordinator with a minimum of 1- 3 years procurement / supply chain coordination experience. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and replenishing the stock of all operations and office equipment and supplies, processing purchase orders, summarizing and execution of all purchase requests and negotiating the most favorable terms and conditions for Quantum.
Responsibilities

Coordinate all purchasing functions including compliance with legislation, price, lead times, quality, quantity.

Lead the vendor and Purchase Orders (PO) process. Including but not limited to proactively establishing new items, maintaining supplier contact information, maintaining remittance information, issuing delivery date modifications/updates, communicating quantity adjustments, and pricing changes.

Lead the full process from purchase request by one of the stakeholders to payment. Lead administration of purchase orders ensuring that they are accurately and completely reflected in accounting and ERP.

Participate in the supplier evaluation/performance process and conduct follow-ups as it relates to social procurement opportunities; assists with social procurement scoring evaluation.

Maintain paperwork and external communication in a clear and concise manner.

Collaborate with appropriate departments to ensure booked orders are accurate with corresponding paperwork and are following organizational standards and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Follow and maintain budget. Continually update prices of supplies and materials and be able to report on key metrics.

Ensure that internal processes are followed, and paperwork is complete. Liaise with internal stakeholders accordingly.

Ensure month-end requirements are fulfilled by working with the Finance team and monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Maintain communication with suppliers and follow-up of shipment status.

Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier and Company information.

Participate in training as required and apply knowledge gained through training on the job.

Carry out cross-functional activities, including help with logistics assignments, as required.

Ensure to work with / use security measures, procedures and devices as required.

Engage in additional projects and activities, where necessary
Skills

Knowledge of procurement strategies and techniques

Understanding the industrial process and capability to identify essential items and estimating the safety stock necessary.

Ability to conduct cost analysis and drive delivery expedition.

Education

Post-secondary education (Economics, Business Administration

Supply Chain Management) or equivalent.

1-3 years procurement / supply chain coordination or management experience, working in manufacturing environment.
