Position Summary:
This full-time, entry level Human Resources Administrator position will provide an effective professional presence while delivering accurate and efficient administrative support to the Human Resources, Payroll, and Safety functions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administration and coordination of all Human Resources activities including:
- Performance management, attendance, and turnover
- New employee setup and onboarding
- Disability programs
· Coordinate employee training programs
· Participate in recruiting programs, including search activities such as career fairs, screening, and selection activities
- Create content and perform regular maintenance on electronic and traditional communication programs
- Assist in ongoing continuous improvement projects
- Assist with the coordination and promotion of Employee Rewards events, including but not limited to service awards, barbeques, holiday events, and Family Days
- Provide occasional Reception relief
- Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results-focused attitude
- Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
- Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management, or Human Resource Management certifications
- Experience in general office duties preferred
- Customer Service or Manufacturing experience an asset
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Energetic, self-motivated, creative, and especially positive outlook are absolutely essential
- Highly proficient with MS Office, Adobe, creativity software, and highly adaptive with emerging software solutions
- Highly detail conscious
- Demonstrated communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Strong sense of urgency with proven record of following through to meet deadlines and commitments
- Proven ability to maintain and ensure absolute confidentiality of information and records
