Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Restorative Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth surfaces.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and other dental restorations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining restorative work for long-term oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care during restorative procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental practice management software like Dentrix.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, alleviating concerns, and creating a welcoming environment for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and bilingual patients.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with certification to perform restorative procedures.
- Proven experience working in a dental office setting with knowledge of dental assisting techniques.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, medical terminology, and current best practices in restorative dentistry.
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse patient base.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients of all ages.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow clinical protocols accurately.

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour
