Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Conseillère à la vente to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will be multilingual, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for technology sales and merchandising. Fluency in both French and English is preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and upselling opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandise displays, ensure products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients or scheduling appointments
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with merchandising strategies to maximize sales
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple customers during busy periods while maintaining quality service
- Uphold organizational standards and ensure the store environment remains clean and welcoming
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and organizational skills to maintain attractive displays
- Ability to work well under pressure with excellent time management and phone etiquette skills
