Rico Real Estate Inc. is a locally owned property management firm specialized in single and multifamily properties. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate should be customer focused, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask efficiently.
About the Role
The Office Administrator is the first point of contact for our office and plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. This position supports our property managers, accounting team, clients, and tenants by ensuring efficient administrative processes and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, tenants, contractors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with preparing letters, notices, reports, lease agreement and lease renewals
- Support the accounting department with data entry, invoice processing, and administrative tasks.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the property management team.
- Ability to conduct due diligence searches and check references relating to rental application review
- Following-up with tenants in arrears.
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Completion of recognized post-secondary program is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum two years of administrative experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Experience in Real Estate and Yardi software is an asset but is not required.
Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
