HOURS: 8AM to 4:30PM

Responsible to the department Content Coordinator for assignment and maintenance of corporate ‘content’ information. (Content consists of item information such as descriptions, attributes, images and hierarchies)

Collection, input, and ongoing maintenance of required item data for all items listed on corporate item file.

Requirements include assignment of appropriate merchandise classification, pricing detail including appropriate sales and freight coding, full item detail and specifications including image, plus source change detail.

Analyze and appropriately handle supplier UPC problems.

Maintenance of keyword search terms.

Contact suppliers to request missing item data including UPC/GTIN information, packaging details, product images and descriptions.

Participation in specific projects as required.

College / University courses in business. Experience in retail and/or data management.

Being mathematically inclined with strong analytical skills.

Experience with Oracle based user environments, Excel, Discoverer or similar reporting applications.

Good communication and organizational skills (both written and verbal).

Able to work as a part of a team while maintaining organization on individual assignments.

Ability and willingness to work under pressure deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Retail experience, general business knowledge and French written and oral skills would be assets.
